The Original 140 characters: winner

Fall Semester 2011 is over. Exams must still be taken, all nighters still be pulled, but for the 18 special students of ADPR 3110, Advertising Message Strategy, their work is done.

Today these students selected the award winning multi-media campaign from amongst their own, the best of the best and that's saying something.

The award: 1 large chocolate Easter Bunny (stored in a refrigerated container from Easter to present) and 2 media related GetGlue [GG] stickers.

The client: Post-it.
The audience: young people
The benefit: consistency
The tone: innovatice

The winning campaign: The original 140 characters. Posted.

Watch out for each of these students. Soon they may be creating the cultural milieu within which you buy products and yearn for more. In the meantime, each of their unique personalities, their individual interests, backgrounds and out-of-class lives combined in our classroom to create a learning atmosphere one doesn't often find. I wish them all well and hope I see them again here and there around town.

Simply Irresistible

Simply Irresistible

those words reflect the work of this Fall's Ad Message Strategy [ADPR 3110] students of which these are but two examples [see previous entry] The projects are developed in groups of 3 and the final executions are presented in a mock-client environment. These 2 ads have been photo-edited by me. I hope you like these on behalf of the students as well as my own.

Meet my dog, Mercury Murphy Roushanzamir. She also writes a blog. Her most recent entry provides some insight into new media art & social media and also provides links to 3 galleries (app: Zapd) which show off her iPhotography. And, she identifies the apps that contribute to her creative work.

Please take a look at the blog (address below) and visit the gallery links.

Ad Faculty to Ad Agency [SBC]

Find news about the Grady Advertising & Public Relations Department at their blog:

Here, as an example of the blog's content, I quote an entry with special relevance to me (4th from left)!

"Six Grady ADPR Faculty members travelled to Columbus, Ohio this week to spend two days at sbc Advertising, an award-winning ad agency. The Grady team lead by Department Head Dr. Tom Reichert included, Dr. Karen King, Dr. Joe Phua, Dr. Elli Roushanzamir, Dr. Karen Russell and Dr. Jeff Springston, spent time with a variety of SBC's advertising and public relations professionals during the visit."
